Meetings are held monthly (but not in December) on the 4th Monday of the month at 7pm in Oldenburg at The Pearl Street Pub. Meetings are open. Join us if you're in the neighborhood.
Current Project: Bike-ped trail connecting the Village of Oldenburg with the Town of Batesville.
Other Projects: Franklin County is attempting to pass a new Zoning Code and Subdivision Ordinance. Some of our members are giving input to the Zoning Board reflecting our concerns about the Code and Ordinance to insure it is the best we can get. Our involvement has made it clear that: 1) Most citizens of the County are very ill informed about the meaning of changes, 2) The Code and Ordinance have contradictory and confusing language (meaning, assuming the best intentions, they were poorly edited), and 3) As a result of 1) and 2), it seems necessary to continue public hearings to insure the adopted regulations are fair and clearly written.
